Purpose of the position

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter to work in our Melbourne Branch. The purpose of the job is to support Services Management in achieving operational efficiency, maintain compliance with corporate policies/guidelines and to achieve operating/financial budgets & forecasts. The key location will be Melbourne and you will report to Director Finance, Oceania.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Demonstrate compliance with/commitment to the company’s values
  • Support company policies & procedures and adherence thereto ( internal controls)
  • Ensure timely & accurate processing of all financial information into the SAP and HFM systems
  • Generation/Distribution of periodic management reports and review with Services line management including KPIs
  • Assist in development/implementation of automated Services operations systems ( iScala service module)
  • Maintenance of budget/forecast files in financial systems
  • Regular review of performance v’s benchmarks ( KPI’s, Budgets, Forecasts, Targets)
  • Develop/maintain financial models to support “open book” basis for PTS maintenance services charges
  • Assist in providing financial analysis support to Service Management team in contract negotiations with customers/suppliers/unions

What you’ll need to succeed:


  • Formal qualification in accounting or related discipline


  • Preferable 3-5 year experience in finance function
  • Financial systems support role
  • Exposure to services related operations


  • Microsoft office and Google tools
  • Proven financial analysis skillset
  • Expertise in developing financial reporting


  • Self-starter
  • Finance team results oriented
  • Ability to achieve timetables
  • Strong Communicator ( oral & written)
  • Ability to work effectively in developing a services team environment
