About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and relatively experienced individual to join our Northern Metropolitan team as a Receptionist and Administration Assistant. The role is responsible for providing reception and general administration support to all Departments associated with the Northern Region. The role will also is also responsible for promotion and engagement with key stakeholders including potential service recipients, community networks and all likeminded organisations.

What we need from you:

  • Experience in performing reception and administration tasks
  • Well developed time management skills and the ability to prioritise
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with a high degree of initiative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Well developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport
  • Proficiency in applications such as Microsoft office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated commitment to annecto Compass and the Purpose and Principles of annecto
  • Understanding and commitment to person centred approaches
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of a professional team

What would be great to have:

  • Tertiary qualification desirable - minimum Certificate IV in Business Administration
  • Knowledge of client management databases (Alayacare would be preferred)
  • Knowledge of DEX reporting
  • Knowledge of a range of community resources and support services
  • An ability to speak a community language/s
  • An ability to work in a flexible and creative manner
