The Client

My client first began manufacturing progressing cavity pumps 80+ years ago, their heritage is built on this world-renowned design. They have continued to engineer industry-leading pump ranges throughout that time.

The Job

  • Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial accounts, reports and budgetary information for management. Review and interpret data generated by the financial reports.
  • Participate in the preparation of statutory accounts and liaison with the Companys auditors.
  • Assist the Financial Accountant and other members of the administration team to complete their tasks in an effective and timely manner.


  • Preparation of monthly journals and input into accounting package. Compilation of financial reports and then review for reasonableness.
  • To aid with the transfer of electronic payments and then assist in the maintenance of daily schedules of receipts and payments. To complete weekly and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Preparation of Sarbanes Oxley reconciliations and supporting schedules.
  • Act as Intercompany contact for accounting issues and reconciliations.
  • Be actively involved in the preparation of all financial reporting schedules in accordance with statutory, management and parent company requirements.
  • Participate in preparation of budgets and other forecast schedules.
  • Provide backup to HR for Payroll including other associated payroll costs.
  • Liaise with the Companys auditors to ensure the smooth conduct of the audit of annual accounts and other legislative requirements.
  • Control of motor vehicle information including lease details and accident claim forms.
  • Perform other accounting duties as required.
  • Proactive review of processes and procedures to ensure that current practices are continually improved.
  • To commit to a safe and healthy work environment as an employee, and for contractors, customers and visitors. To understand and comply with all relevant Health Safety Acts, Regulations and Codes of Practice.
  • To always maintain a high level of professionalism, a positive attitude and a demeanor supportive of the companys overall objectives as determined by management.
  • Comply to all company policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to and play an active role in our OHS processes and systems and legislative compliance.
  • Perform such other duties, relevant to the position, as may be necessary.


  • Timely Delivered of Reports and Reconciliation with high Accuracy
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics or related field.
  • Completed OR In process of taking CPA/ CA
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Brilliant organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines.
  • Detail oriented, ability to multi-task, work independently and prioritise tasks.
  • Excel at Intermediate Level or higher is preferred.
  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Programs.
