Our South East Public Health Unit is a newly established unit working to prevent and respond to the spread of COVID-19 and broader aspects of public health in the south east suburbs of Melbourne.


About the Role


In this executive support role, you will work closely with the Director and Leadership Team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Unit administration. Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Delivering high quality customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

  • Co-ordination of meetings (face to face and virtual), including venue bookings, agenda preparation and minute taking

  • Effective co-ordination and management of office communications, diaries and systems

  • Preparation of high quality reports, presentations and documents.


About You


You have supported high level executives or directors in the past, you know how to provide that level of administrative support they will need.


With your strong written and verbal communication skills and your ability to uphold strict confidentiality, you will thrive in this busy dynamic setting and be able to respond to the changing needs that come with working in Public Health.


What you Need:



  • Previous experience working as PA/EA in high level administrative support to an Executive Director

  • Tech savvy

  • A go-getter attitude, a genuine passion in administration support

  • Australian working rights

  • Previous administrative experience in healthcare will be highly regarded but is not essential.
