About the role
Hospital in the Home (HITH) is a bed substitution program providing Acute and Oncology treatments to patients in their home, allowing patients to recover in a familiar environment rather than in hospital.
As a ANUM, you will play a leading role in the coordination and management of the service.
- We’re looking for someone who would bring ideas, enthusiasm, passion and an ethos of patient-centred care to the HITH Team
- As a ANUM, you’ll provide clinical leadership for the nursing staff.
- You will be required to be the shift coordinator and undertake when rostered the HITH Intake role at all Eastern Health Acute Sites.
- You will be required to ensure a strong commitment to customer service, safety and high-quality care.
- You will also ensure professional standards and Eastern Health policies are upheld and great patient outcomes are achieved.
To be successful in this role you will possess:
- Current registration with AHPRA (essential)
- At least 5 years acute nursing experience
- Post graduate qualification in a clinically relevant area (highly regarded)
- Recent leadership experience
- Experience in community nursing (highly regarded)
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- An empathetic and personable demeanour
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability and experience to confidently lead a diverse team
- Victorian Drives Licence
