JOB DESCRIPTION

Business Development Assistant (BDA)

i=Change (www.iequalchange.com) is a technology platform that makes it simple and powerful for online retailers to give back to charitable projects.

By uniquely bridging the world of retail and social impact, with a focus on funding women and girls’ development projects, i=Change is turning e-commerce into a ‘force for good’.

In this role your key Business Development skills will directly contribute to creating social and environmental impact, by increasing the number of online retailers joining the i=Change platform each week.

You will conduct outreach to retailers, engage in conversations about the benefits of giving back, the i=Change movement, and how they can meet consumer demand to shop brands of purpose.

You will also respond to organic inbound leads. You will share case studies that excite, and opportunities to come onboard, to convert prospects in a timely manner.

You will have a wide-range of retailers at different stages of the journey, so your relationship management and organisational skills will be fully utilised to keep retailers engaged, and convert them into i=Change retail partners.

As part of the BD process, you will also follow retailer’s journeys, strategically provide them with updates, to show how giving can help them meet their brand, marketing and growth goals

As you’ll communicate with retailers about how giving back can feature in their acquisition campaigns, funnel and post-purchase comms - and it’s impact on customer engagement and conversions - this role requires an understanding of eCommerce and/or digital marketing; how retailer's track and measure marketing initiatives and report on metrics internally.

You will be applying your business development skills to accelerate a new retail normal of product and purpose.
