Job Description

Apex Logistics Solution is a national logistics and freight transfer service provider headquartered in Melbourne with centres across multiple locations in Australia. We are currently seeking skilled and experienced administrative assistants to assist in our expanding operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting members of the administrative team with the management of their assignments as instructed
  • Monitoring and maintaining the administrative team’s calendar
  • Organising documents and maintaining records
  • Undertaking extensive data entry work and regularly updating existing digital records
  • Communicating with clients and stakeholders via phone and email
  • Appropriately documenting communication with clients and taking relevant next steps
  • Engaging external contractors and service providers to achieve deliverables
  • Rostering shifts for contractors and casual workers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 1- 2 years graduate (or equivalent) work experience
  • Technology savvy
  • Working knowledge of popular customer relationship management and accounting software would be useful but not essential
  • Resilience, adaptability and meticulousness
  • Great time management and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Drive to build a career as an administrator
