Batch Operator - Graphic Systems $28-29
Our Internationally recognised customer is a looking for a Batch Operator to assist the production team. You may not have a direct background in Batch operation, however a transferable skill set in formulations or pharmaceuticals, high volume blending (of Liquids and Powders) would also be desirable. This is a casual role (38-hour week) with the view to permanency for the right candidate. Hours of work are 7.00am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday with an hour assigned to break times during the day. Our customer understands and values the importance of a healthy work-life balance, so no weekend work is required.
Primary Tasks of the role:
- Adhere to all Workplace Health & Safety (WHS), Standard Operation Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP) requirements.
- Forklift licence with 6 months experience, however additional support & training will be provided.
- Maintain high attention to detail and follow instructions on batch manufacturing.
- Batch weighing & mixing, including labelling and packaging of finished product.
- Identify, dispense and record raw materials used in production.
- Maintain work area to the highest standard of cleanliness, ensuring all tools and machinery are kept in good order.
- Compound various products in accordance with batch manufacturing documentation and self-observation.
- Review all raw materials prior batch manufacture to ensure all materials are in accordance with the prescribed batch sheet.
- Raise any concerns relating to manufacturing or workplace improvements.
What you must possess:
- Good communication skills with an ability to read & understand batch instructions.
- A positive attitude to completing your work in an encouraging and supportive work environment.
- Great time management.
- A valid Australian Forklift License
