Bushland Regenerator Crew Members

Thomastown, Melbourne, Victoria
Haas and Gray provide natural resource management services to clients across Victoria.
Based at our depot in Thomastown, we are offering positions to suitably qualified individuals for an immediate start.
Key selection criteria:
Demonstrable indigenous and exotic plant identification skills
A genuine interest in native flora and fauna
Field experience in bushland restoration and weed control techniques
An understanding of OHS principles and practices
Working knowledge of herbicides and their use
Manual driver’s license essential (must be competent at manual driving)
Construction Induction White Card
High level of physical fitness
People that join our team will have a demonstrated work ethic, excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a team, and the willingness and desire to continually improve their skills and knowledge in habitat restoration and weed control techniques.
Additional desirable qualifications include:
First Aid Level 2
Chainsaw - safe operation and maintenance
Working at heights training
GIS Mapping experience (including Esri & QGIS)
4wd training/experience
UAV Mapping
Relevant tertiary qualifications - NRM or similar
Payment will be negotiated dependent on the successful applicant’s level of experience.
