Your new role
We are looking for a motivated and skilled Team Member to join Payments Operations Global Cash team

Asset Servicing provides custodial services to Wholesale Institutional clients based in Australia and overseas. These institutions are primarily Superannuation Funds, Government Bodies, Fund Managers or Investment Houses. Services range from custody and settlement services to full accounting, taxation, member choice, wholesale and retail registry services and a range of compliance and measurement services.

Global Cash sits in the wider Payment Operations team and is split into two key functions - the workflow cash and processing function, completing all necessary manual system keying, repairs and validation of cash trades, along with the market settlement function with various settlement applications.
Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manual processing of cash based trades within key web-based workflow systems, providing validation and control of key information.
  • Manual processing into trade workflow systems of fax, uploaded file and free-format authenticated client instructions.
  • Reconciliation management and exception investigation of security and cash positions between multiple systems.
  • To carry out quality control and necessary checks on colleagues work as dictated by policies, procedures and role responsibility.
  • To liaise with internal customers and external service providers, ensuring that instructions, enquires and queries, are acted on efficiently and effectively, seeking to maintain effective working relationships at all times.

You will be required to work 8 hours per day rotating between 8.30-6pm

What you'll need to succeed
• Tertiary education in Business, Commerce or similar (or currently studying)
• Previous client services or operations experience (preferred, however not required)
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work under pressure
• Strong time management skills
• The ability to work in a team environment
