Customer Service role working in a Contact Centre environment
Your new company
Is a well-known State Government department located in the heart of the CBD. They are well respected and due to recent change in legislation and laws are receiving a high number of enquires in their customer care team.
Your new role
Working in a contact centre environment dealing with high volume inbound call enquires which will be in relation to construction & general enquires about the industry. Some duties will include:
- Responding appropriately to customers efficiently & accurately
- Understanding government legislation and effectively communicating correct information to customers
- Exercising initiative when obtaining information from and dealing with customers
- Dealing effectively with enquiries and complaints from customers that may present with uncooperative, disruptive or abusive behaviour
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience working within a contact centre
- Experience working in Local, State or Federal Government
- Experience dealing with sensitive and complex matters in a professional manner
- Proven customer service skills
- Ability to work in a team
- Comfortable using 3 different types
